Create your account to register songs and track your royalties.
As it appears on your PRO registration — this is what goes on the song registration.
You need a PRO before we can register your songs.
A performing rights organisation collects the money your songs earn when they’re streamed, played on radio, used on TV or performed live. Only a PRO can collect it, and only for writers registered with it. In the US you join one — you can’t be in both.
BMI$75 one-time fee. Larger catalogue, open registration, quick approval.

ASCAPFree to join. Member-owned — writers and publishers elect the board.
ascap.com → music creators
For most writers the difference is small: ASCAP is free to join and member-governed, BMI charges a one-time $75 and has the larger catalogue. Both collect the same money from the same places.

You can still create your account now — we’ll email you this, and your account unlocks the moment you come back with your PRO and IPI number.
We’ll need a quick conversation.
Evil Industry administers through publisher entities at BMI and ASCAP. Registrations have to run through a publisher in the same society as the writer, so a SESAC or GMR writer needs a route we set up by hand. Create your account and we’ll be in touch — nothing is blocked permanently.
Your PRO gives you this when you join. You can add it later, but songs can’t be delivered to the societies until it’s on file.
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and the rest, added together. A rough number is fine — it helps us prioritise.
A code from Evil Industry skips the review queue — your account goes live immediately.
Administration Agreement — optional now, required before you register a song
Writer has had the chance to review this Agreement with a lawyer of Writer's choosing before accepting it, and either did so or chose not to.
Leave this unticked to look around first. Until you accept it your account is limited to community, demos, the sync briefs board and resources: nothing is registered or collected on your behalf, no fees apply, and Evil Industry has no rights in your songs. You can accept it any time from Settings.
New accounts are reviewed before payouts or distribution are enabled.
Writers with a PRO on file can register songs right away.
