Evil Industry Inc. was born out of necessity — a response to years of watching friends, peers, and talented artists get burned by a music industry more focused on ownership than empowerment. What started as a grassroots publishing admin service quickly evolved into a boutique powerhouse for independent songwriters and bands who value transparency, control, and having a real team in their corner.
Today, we represent a wide range of catalogs spanning alternative, indie, hip-hop, pop, rock, and electronic. We offer clean one-stop sync licensing, pure administration agreements, and direct international royalty collection, including territories often overlooked by major players — like Mexico, Brazil, and Southeast Asia.
But we didn’t stop at publishing.
We also offer optional recording distribution through a white hat label partnership with SoundOn (TikTok Music’s official distribution platform), providing selected roster members with a TikTok-first DSP strategy and trend-based release support — all while keeping their rights intact.

If you’re an independent artist or songwriter ready to stop leaving money on the table and start collecting what you’re owed — this is where it begins.
Step 1: Fill out our Artist Intake Form
We’ll ask for your:
- Artist or band name
- Contact info
- IPI number (if you have one)
- PRO affiliation (BMI, ASCAP, etc.)
- Writer splits or ownership %s (if you’re in a band)
Step 2: Decide how you’d like to be paid
We can send one check to your band, or pay each member individually. If splitting payments, each person must submit the proper tax form:
- W-9 for U.S.-based artists
Step 3: Sign the admin authorization
Once you’re ready, we’ll send over a short form authorizing Evil Industry Inc. to act as your designated publishing administrator for any songs you choose. It could be a few singles, a full album, or your entire catalog — it’s totally up to you.
Step 4: We take care of the rest.
From registering your works to collecting and distributing royalties, you stay focused on the music. We’ll handle the paperwork, platforms, and payments — no fine print, no shady contracts.
